New Marijuana brand named after jayz’s Baby - Blue Ivy

DRUG shops have named a new marijuana after Beyoncé’s nine-day-old baby girl Blue Ivy.
The singer, 30, and her rapper husband Jay-Z, 42, announced their first child’s name last week. Almost immediately legal cannabis stores in California began cashing in on the star US family by calling a new line of the drug OG Blue Ivy.

OG is thought to stand for Original Gangster, an Ice-T rap album.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z have no connection to the drug but so far their lawyers have made no request to the shops to change the name.

50 Cent reignited the feud between him and new father jay-z by posting fake snaps of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter.He posted them on Monday — just 48 hours after Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy in New York.

Beyonce Gives Birth To A Baby Girl Named Ivy Blue Carter

Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their first child on Saturday night called Ivy Blue Carter.Beyonce gave birth at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York via C-Section and is reported to be doing fine.

The couple’s closest friends broke the news before any actual media outlets did — via Twitter! Jay-Z’s protege and good pal Rihanna tweeted, “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.” Russell Simmons was almost among the first to announce the good news, writing “congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z.”

The couple rented out the entire fourth floor of Lenox Hill Hospital, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, for the birth — paying $1.3 million, the New York Daily News reported.

The newspaper said a hospital staffer had revealed Beyonce had checked in Friday night under the name “Ingrid Jackson.”

Hospital management reportedly put tape over security cameras and forced staff to hand in their cell phones in an effort to stop unauthorized photographs or footage of mother and baby being leaked.
Security guards were also reported to have been sighted outside the building, located off Park Avenue.

The name Ivy is thought to come from “IV” — the Roman numeral for four which is phonetically spelled out as “Ivy”. The number 4 is a common theme for the couple. They were secretly wed on April 4, 2008 (04/04/08), each has a birthday on the 4th (Beyonce on Sept. 4, Jay-Z on Dec .4). Beyonce’s fourth studio album was called 4. Blue is also reported to be Jay-Z’s favourite colour and has significance via his Blueprint trilogy of albums.
